Android USB tethering shouldn't be this annoying
For years I used this tool to help me tether my Android internet via USB to my Mac.
It sucks because those were custom kext drivers, and I can't install certain apps on the App Store because I need to disable SIP (System Integrity Protection).
Turns out, my Xiaomi phone already supports NCM (something every major OS supports), yet it keeps forcing it to use RNDIS.
And apparently, fixing it was this simple:
adb shell settings put global tether_force_usb_functions 1
All this trouble because Xiaomi decided to force RNDIS for no good reason.
